Next meeting of Azerbaijani businesswomen of Georgia was held in Marneuli. The meeting took place with initiative and support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora. Azerbaijanis in the region of Kvemo Kartli participated in the meeting.

Leyla Amrahova, Chairman of the “Alliance” Youth Centre in Tbilisi stated the purpose of the event was to highlight the achievements of women who have succeeded in various fields, present their successes, and to create a platform for mutual exchange of ideas.

In her speech, Deputy Head of Department of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Shafag Binnatova spoke about the support provided by the institute for bringing together Azerbaijanis living abroad, especially women, and for facilitating the integration of our compatriots engaged in various fields into local communities. She also emphasized that weekend schools are supported to help the younger generation preserve their native language, culture, and history. She also noted the significant role of female diaspora activists in information warfare, especially during the Patriotic War.

 Afterwards, women working in various fields spoke about their successes and expressed their gratitude to the Azerbaijani state for the support provided.
