An Azerbaijani-language audio guide was launched at the Warsaw Rising Museum
26 September, 2025
A presentation ceremony for the Azerbaijani-language audio guide was held at the Warsaw Rising Museum with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Poland.
The event was attended by Nargiz Gurbanova, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Poland, Jan Oldakowski, Director of Warsaw Museum, the co‑chair and members of the Poland‑Azerbaijan Parliamentary Group, diplomatic corps representatives, officials, Azerbaijanis, representatives of Muslim and Christian communities, scientists and artists, and local media.
During the speeches, the museum’s activities and the history of the Warsaw Uprising were discussed. It was stated that the Warsaw Uprising was a symbol of courage, endurance and unbreakable will not only in Polish history, but also in the history of humanity as a whole. This heroic narrative, as a universal story that transcends borders, nations, and generations, deserved to be told and heard in various languages, including Azerbaijani.
It was noted that the audio guide can serve as a bridge between cultures, promoting mutual understanding and solidarity.
The inclusion of an Azerbaijani-language audio guide at the museum — alongside existing versions in English, French, Greek, Spanish, German, Slovak, Ukrainian, and Italian, was evaluated as a positive development.
