The head of the diaspora organization in Estonia was awarded a medal
10 December, 2024Based on the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Niyazi Hajiyev, the head of the "Aydan" Estonia-Azerbaijan Cultural Center, was awarded the jubilee medal "100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)" for his services in diaspora activities.
The First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, Valeh Hajiyev, met with Niyazi Hajiyev at the Committee and presented the medal. He highly appreciated the contribution of our compatriot to the development of the Azerbaijani diaspora and the promotion of Azerbaijan abroad, wishing him success in his future activities.
Niyazi Hajiyev expressed his deep gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan for the high recognition of his work. He emphasized his commitment to continuing efforts toward forming a positive image of Azerbaijan in Europe, uniting compatriots living in Estonia, and jointly working for national interests.
It should be noted that Niyazi Hajiyev had previously been awarded the “Taraggi” and "For Services in Diaspora Activities" medals.
