A pianist of Azerbaijani origin living in France has been awarded a medal
13 August, 2024Fuad Muradov, the Chairman of the State Committee on work with Diaspora, has met with Adila Aliyeva, Honored artist of Azerbaijan living in France, pianist, recipient of Azerbaijan's "Friendship" and France's "Legion of Honor" orders, the director of France Music Academy. During the meeting Adila Aliyeva was presented the "Heydar Aliyev's 100th Anniversary (1923-2023)" jubilee medal by the decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev.
The Committee Chairman highly appreciated the active integration of our compatriots into the local society, activity in the field of the promotion of the truths about Azerbaijan, and the recognition of our rich cultural heritage and culture. The unique role of the diaspora in the development of mutual relations between the two countries has been emphasized. He noted that Azerbaijani community and compatriots abroad and their activity are currently under the attention of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva.
Adila Aliyeva has expressed her gratitude to the country's leadership for the high price given to her work and emphasized that she will continue to contribute to the promotion of Azerbaijani music and our culture over the world and will spare no effort for the development of cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Europe.
