Azerbaijan was represented at the 20th International Multicultural Festival held in Plano, Texas. Representatives of European, Asian countries and countries of Latin America attended the festival that aims to promote the culture, traditions and national cuisine of different nations.

Books, souvenirs, national clothing, samples of different cuisines reflecting the ancient history, rich culture, tourism potential and traditions of our country, was demonstrated at the Azerbaijani corner organized by Durdana Balakishiyeva, Zuleykha Asadova, Leman Hendricks and other compatriots living in Dallas and other cities of Texas state. The poem "Treasury of Secrets" by the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi, translated and published in English, was presented at the Azerbaijani corner.

At the International Fashion Show, organized within the festival, well-known Azerbaijani dancer Leman Hendriks and ballet performer Vivien Bennett shared the stage. They presented dances "Naz elema", "Gaval", "Yuz biri" and a piece from the ballet "One Thousand and one Nights" by the famous Azerbaijani composer Fikret Amirov. Festival participants and local residents watched our national dances with admiration.
