Youth Unity of Azerbaijani Canadians was established under the Azerbaijani House, operates in Toronto, Canada.
The first Azerbaijani scientist to receive the Humboldt Prize, Honored Scientist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Masud Afandiyev, former member of Parliament of Ontario, politician Reza Moridi, and professor Ilgar Mammadov attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was held in Azerbaijani House. They congratulated the Azerbaijani youth on the occasion of the establishment of the Unity and wished them success.
Masud Afandiyev emphasized that the establishing of Youth Unity of Azerbaijani Canadians is very essential and right step. He spoke about the importance of the close relations of newly established association with our country.
Farid Malikov and Fidan Aliyeva, organizers of Youth Unity of Azerbaijani Canadians, stated that the main purpose of the Organization is to unite the Azerbaijani youth living in Canada and hold meetings related to scientific and other important topics.
At the meeting Masud Afandiyev, Reza Moridi and Ilgar Mamadov shared their useful thoughts about science, policy, and personal improvement with the youth.
