An event dedicated to November 8 – Victory Day and November 9 – State Flag Day was held in Mountain View, California, USA.

The event began with the playing of Azerbaijan’s National Anthem and a minute’s silence in honor of the martyrs.

Organized by the Azerbaijan Cultural Society of Northern California, the event featured an opening address by the society’s president, Seve Boisvert, who greeted the participants and highlighted the historical significance of Victory Day for Azerbaijan.

Future plans of the organization were discussed during the event, and attendees were informed about Azerbaijani language, drum, and national dance classes.

A mini volleyball tournament for children and young people was held as part of the program, and members of the society's "Azerbaijan" dance ensemble performed traditional Azerbaijani dances.

Additionally, Azerbaijani musical instruments, carpets, and other cultural artifacts were showcased, attracting significant interest from foreign and local community members alike.

It is should be noted that the Azerbaijan Cultural Society of Northern California has been operating as a non-profit organization in the United States for over 43 years.
