As part of the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) held an event on "Youth Leadership in Climate Resilience and Peacebuilding."

ICESCO’s Young Ambassador for Peace, Sandi Salem, an active member of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Egypt, spoke at the session titled “Youth Dialogue for Climate Action.”

It should be noted that Sandi Salem participated in COP29-related seminars at the British University in Egypt (BUE) and ADA University in Azerbaijan, presenting her project.
