Hun Turkic Congress held in Hungary has ended

The Hun Turkic Congress which is considered the world's largest ethno-festival hosted by the city of Bugac, Hungary, has come to an end. The festival, in which  arts and culture figures of Azerbaijan, social activists participated, has lasted 3 days. Azerbaijan tent has been constructed for the first time at the festival, attended by more than 300,000 people. Examples of our old carpets and carpet art, made by Elnara Rasulova, the member of Azerbaijan Union of Artists, originally from Lachin, has been excibited, preaching of our folk and ashig art, as well as national dances caused great interest. The performances of ashig Elmaddin Mammadli and Honored Artist Gochak Askarov in big scene have been welcomed by a storm of applause.

In addition to international turkish states, Turkish organization – Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TURKPA), the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), Organization of Turkic States, the International Turkic Academy operating in Kazakhistan and other turkish communities have actively attended at the Congress.

The Azerbaijan Diaspora Support Fund (ADDF), which operates under the State Committee on  Work with Diaspora has represented Azerbaijan at the congress.

It should be noted that the purpose of organizing the Hun Turkic Congress every two years is to bring further strengthening their unity among the Turkish peoples and their diaspora communities.
