The education of our compatriots in Marneuli is in the spotlight

An end-of-academic-year event was organized at the Integration Center for Azerbaijanis of Georgia (GAIM) operating in Marneuli, Georgia. Murad Muradov, the Executive Director of the Center, stated that more than 1,000 children and adolescents studied at the center during the past academic year. He spoke about the students’ achievements in education, sports, and personal development. The new website of GAIM - gaim.ge was also presented. The event continued with colorful and memorable moments. Young talent Rasul Khalilov performed a rap song written by himself. Afterwards, the wrestlers showcased their skills. Alisa Krivosheyeva, the center’s gymnast and a dancer of the “Enguri” ensemble, graced the stage with her dances, the judokas demonstrated agility and talent through their performances. The youth’s performances were met with great interest and applause. At the end, diplomas and gifts were presented to 18 young graduates of the preschool preparation course.

A student evaluation day was held at the newly established Education and Integration Center in Sadakhli village, Marneuli district with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 89 students have studied at the center in this academic year. 63 of them were awarded certificates, and four of them received diplomas and medals, as well as monetary prizes. In his speech, Samir Sharifov Head of the center mentioned that accurate assessment of students is an essential part of the educational process. He added that such monitoring activities provide opportunities for both students and teachers to improve and develop, with the main goal being to identify weaknesses and eliminate them. At the event, Hummat Ahmadov, Azerbaijani language teacher, and Bilnur Aghajanova Georgian language teacher, congratulated and wished them success in their future education. The parents expressed their gratitude to the center’s staff and faculty. They emphasized the importance of the continuing such initiatives.
