The Melody of Dreams

The concert titled “The Melody of Dreams” by Arzu Rzayeva — a composer and musician living in Norway, a member of the Norwegian Azerbaijanis organization, head of the weekend Azerbaijani language school named after Nizami Ganjavi in Olso — was held at the International Mugham Centre.
The concert took place with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora under Committee, and Azerbaijan House in Oslo.
Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Vagif Seyidbayov emphasized the significant role of the work of creative figures such as Arzu Rzayeva in promoting our national cultural values and music internationally. He highly appreciated the role of diaspora representatives in preserving our national music, language, and cultural heritage.
Honoured Art Worker Baba Vaziroghlu underscored that such projects were indispensable in promoting the Azerbaijani culture, and conveying it on to future generations.
People’s Artist Faxraddin Manafov wished success to our compatriots in their future activities, noting that the event was organized at a high level.
Famous conductor, People’s Artist Aghaverdi Pashayev stated that he was very pleased with the success of his student Arzu Rzayeva. He emphasized the importance of regularly organizing such concerts.
Director of the International Mugham Centre, tar player, Honoured Artist Sahib Pashazadeh highlighted that the concert contributed to preserving our national, and cultural values.
Host of the concert, Honoured Artist Dilara Aliyeva noted that love for the homeland and the native land occupied a special place in Arzu Rzayeva’s compositions.
Composer Arzu Rzayeva expressed her deep gratitude for the valuable support in organizing the concert.
At the concert, compositions based on Azerbaijani musical traditions were received with great interest and were met with enthusiastic applause.
