The Chairman of the State Committee of Diaspora  Fuad Muradov has met with the deputy chairman of the Congress of Benelux Azerbaijanis, artist Rasim Huseyov lived in Rotterdam, the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Greeting the guest, the Committee Chairman has highly appreciated the active integration of our compatriots in the Netherlands into the local society, the promotion of the truths about Azerbaijan, and the recognition of our rich cultural heritage and culture. The unique role of the diaspora in the development of mutual relations between the two countries has been emphasized. He noted that Azerbaijani community and compatriots abroad are currently under the attention of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva.

Rasim Hüseynov has stated that the Azerbaijani community in the Netherlands closely follows the processes taking place in our country and supports the successful domestic and foreign policy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. He has noted that efforts will continue to ensure the development of bilateral relations between the countries and to organize the activities of our diaspora more effectively. 

At the end of the meeting, the "For Service in Diaspora Activities" medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan was presented to Rasim Huseynov.

It should be noted that Rasim Huseynov propagates Azerbaijan culture with art exhibitions held in Europe. His works have appeared in more than 100 international exhibitions, since 1988. His paintings have been exhibited in 30 different exhibitions in the Dutch cities of Amsterdam, Utrecht and The Hague, as well as in neighboring Germany.
