Dallas and Huston hosted a concert program titled "Travelling with Flute" by Dr Jeyran Hasan, an American musician of Azerbaijani origin, flutist and Professor of the University of Utah.  

Initially, Jamila Javadova, the founder and executive director of Azerbaijan America Music Foundation, Jamila Javadova shared her thoughts about events and future projects, held by Spitzbergen organization. She expressed her gratitude to the State Committee on Work with Diaspora for the organizing the concert and continuous support.

Subsequently, Dr Jeyran Hasan performed both Azerbaijan and American female composers’ works. The concert accompanied by pianists Dr Gia Jiha Choi and Dr Natalia Suxina aroused a great interest of audience and was welcomed by a storm of applause.

It should be noted that the concert was a part of the “Music Bridge” project conducted by the American Azerbaijan Music Fund.
