A girls’ chess tournament dedicated to the 8th March – International Women’s Day was held with the organization of Integration Center for Azerbaijanis of Georgia, operating in Marneuli, Georgia.

Chess tournament aimed to improve intellectual skills and strengthen friendly ties among young chess players.

Students from the Integration Center for Azerbaijanis of Georgia, Development and Education Center, Saral Development and Education Center, the Garachop Bright Future Education Center (Sagareco), the Marneuli Municipal Chess School, participated in the tournament.

Students of the Bright Future Education Center, Nuray Hajieva won first place, while Yeter Aliyeva took third place. Zahra Allahverdiyeva from the Integration Center for Azerbaijanis of Georgia, won second place, and Alina Yagubova took third place.

At the end, winners received medals, and participants were awarded certificates.
