“Odlar yurdu” boxing club, operating in Magdeburg, Germany, got new success. Two members of club became winner of the Federal Boxing Championship.

First, 13-year-old Dmytro Turkules took first place in the competition held among children in the 57 kg weight category. Then, 15-year-old Bleoren Halili defeated all his opponents in the among the adolescents in the 66 kg weight.

Head of the club, professional boxer Azad Rahimov stated that these results are of the great importance for both the club and young athletes. He emphasized that the interest in boxing has increased, and “Odlar yurdu” boxing club attracted more attention in the last two years in Germany.

“Odlar yurdu” boxing club’s achievements are extensively featured every month in the "Dates-Das Magdeburger Stadtmagazin" publication. This helps showcase the club’s outstanding successes and its mission to promote Azerbaijan to a wide audience.
