The official Closing ceremony of the “Youth for a Green World” 5th Summer Camp for Diaspora Youth organized in Lachin has been taken place.

First, video reflecting a brief summary of 5th Summer Camp has been showcased.

Then, the deputy chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Elshad Aliyev has spoken about the importance of holding the 5th Summer Camp in Lachin, one of the charming corners of Azerbaijan, and he has expressed his belief that this camp would leave an indelible mark on the memories of the participants. He has emphasized that Lachin has hosted guests from 60 countries around the world for the first time.  He has stated that these summer camps, which have become a tradition, aim to strengthen the ties of Azerbaijani youth living abroad with the motherland and to preserve their attachment to their roots and culture, and has called on the youth to be active in diaspora activities and the promoting the Azerbaijani truths. The deputy chairman has highlighted that such events play a very important role in helping patriotic youth gain an advantage in the information war and in preventing disinformation.

An official representative of the Special Representative Office of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic in Lachin district, Huseyn Guliyev has emphasized the great significance of holding the camp in Lachin. He has noted that having 115 youth from 60 countries around the world in  Lachin, participating in the camp is a very proud event. Huseyn Guliyev has expressed his hope that such events will be held in Lachin in the future.

Subsequently, the camp participants has been presented with certificates, brain rings and prizes for the winners of football games.

It should be noted that 115 youth from 60 countries around the world have participated in the 5th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth, which lasted from August 1 to 7 and is considered one of the most magnificent projects in the history of diaspora. Among them were both Azerbaijanis living in various countries around the world and representatives of nations that have friendly relations with Azerbaijan.
