An event dedicated to supporting and promoting the state language was held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on the occasion of the Kyrgyz Language Day.

At the event, Melis Murataliev, Chairperson of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, awarded Khansivar Bakhshaliyev, Chairman of the “Birlik” Public Association of Azerbaijanis of the Kyrgyz Republic, with an Honorary Diploma for his significant contributions to the development and promotion of the Kyrgyz language. This award was regarded as a high recognition of the Azerbaijani community living in the country for their respect the state language and their efforts toward its preservation and promotion.
