Our compatriot, lawyer Faila Abbasova, who lives in Latvia, visited the State Committee

Fuad Muradov, the Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, met with our compatriot Faila Abbasova, who lives and operates as a lawyer in Latvia.

Greeting the guest, Chairman Fuad Muradov gave detailed information about the Committee’s activities, ongoing projects, Azerbaijan Houses abroad, Coordination Councils and the "Youth for a Green World" 5th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth that ended these days. He noted that Azerbaijani community and compatriots abroad and their activity are currently under the attention of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva.

Faila Abbasova stated that the Azerbaijani community in Latvia closely follows the processes taking place in our country and supports the successful domestic and foreign policy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. She noted that efforts will continue to ensure the development of bilateral relations between the countries and to organize the activities of our diaspora more effectively.

Nadir Adilov, Chairman of the Board of the Mediation Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Gasim Shaliyev, a member of the Bar Association, also took part at the meeting.

It should be noted that Faila Abbasova, born in Azerbaijan, operates in Latvia today. She is a member of the management board of a number of organizations in the field of mediation and the chairman of the Council of Certified Mediators in that country.
