Meeting held with the Azerbaijanis living in Luxemburg

As a part of the visit to the Benelux countries, the Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov met with the Azerbaijani community living in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The meeting began with the playing of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan, followed by the honoring of our martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the integrity of our country.
Committee Chairman provided information about the projects that promote the diversification of ties among compatriots, and spoke about the strategic role of our diaspora in the information war, its principled stance, and loyalty to national values. "Thanks to the diaspora policy carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani communities abroad have structured their activities to meet modern challenges, making the enhancement of Azerbaijan’s reputation one of their main goals," he said.
In his speech, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Vagif Sadigov highly appreciated the meeting with Azerbaijani community in Luxembourg and the positive dynamics in diaspora activities. He also emphasized the growing interest of compatriots in diaspora building in recent years.
Seymur Ahmadov, the founder of the Azerbaijan–Luxembourg Friendship Association (LuxAz) provided information in detail about the activities of the association, thanked the Azerbaijani government for the attention and care shown to compatriots in Luxembourg.
The meeting encompassed a multifaceted discourse on the community's initiatives, facilitating a comprehensive exchange of perspectives while addressing inquiries with precision. Stakeholders articulated strategic propositions concerning initiatives focused on the enhancement of the diaspora ecosystem, the facilitation of knowledge transfer and experiential learning, and the fortification of inter-member connectivity.
At the end, the coordinator for Luxembourg of the Netherland-Belgium Azerbaijani Coordination Council was elected.
