The dear memory of Khojaly martyrs was commemorated in California

The next lessons of the Azerbaijani Youth Dance Ensemble under the Azerbaijani Cultural Society of Northern California (ACSNC) were dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

The students first deeply honoured the dear memory of the innocent people who were martyred in Khojaly and laid flowers in front of a specially prepared corner.

The artistic director of the society, Anar Allahverdov, spoke about the essence of the date of February 26, 1992, which was the blood memory of the Azerbaijani people. He emphasized the importance of remembrance Khojaly genocide and the prevention of such tragedies in the future.

The lesson also discussed the importance of preserving historical memory and passing it to younger generations.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani Cultural Society of Northern California (ACSNC) has been operating for more than 40 years. The organization fulfils its mission to promote our culture and history in American society by organizing cultural and educational events for our compatriots living far from their homeland. National dance lessons are held at the Azerbaijan Youth Dance Ensemble, which operates within the Society with the support of the committee.
