A special lesson, dedicated to the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the “Learn your mother tongue with pride and love” weekend school operating under the European Azerbaijan Center in Münster, Germany.

Firstly, the lesson began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence to honor the cherished memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of the country.

Zaur Aliyev, the head of the European Azerbaijan Center spoke about the life and work of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. He discussed the Leader’s invaluable legacy and his unparalleled role in the development of Azerbaijani statehood. He also emphasized that the political course founded by Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

During the lesson, a short film about the life and activities of the National Leader was screened.

Sahiba Payıküçük, a teacher at the weekend school and Doctor of Philosophy and Philology, spoke about Heydar Aliyev’s statehood principles and his contributions to culture and education.

The importance of teaching and passing on the rich legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to future generations was highlighted.
