Participants of the Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad, which began its work in Baku on September 9 visited the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs.

More than 80 Azerbaijani scientists from 23 countries visited the Alley of Honor and commemorated the memory of the well-known statesman, great leader Heydar Aliyev, and put a wreath on the grave.

Subsequently the compatriots visited the first and second Alley of Martyrs and honored the memory of the children of the Motherland who were martyred for the independence and territorial integrity of our country, they prayed for their souls.

The Forum is organized by the World Union of Azerbaijani Scientists, and the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Ministry of Science and Education. A visit to Shusha and Khankendi, and meeting with the teaching staff of Karabagh University is planned.

It should be noted that in recent years, the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, together with diaspora organizations, contributes to the networking of our compatriots living abroad by organizing forums of world Azerbaijani scientists, Azerbaijani engineers, Azerbaijani doctors and students in different countries.
