Ukraine hosted festive events dedicated to Novruz holiday

On the occasion of Novruz holiday, festive events were held in several cities of Ukraine.
Krivoy Rog Azerbaijani diaspora organization has held festive event, dedicated to Novruz holiday. The event was attended by Yuriy Vilkul, the mayor of the city, MPs of city councils, and culture representatives of city. The attributes of Novruz holiday, dishes from our national cuisine, as well as information board about prominent personalities of Azerbaijan were presented in the corner of Azerbaijan.
Novruz was also celebrated in Poltava. The event was attended by People's MP of Ukraine Konstantin Kasai Ivanovich, First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Oleksandr Lemeshko Nikolaevich, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Oleksiy Chepurko Grigorovich, First Deputy Mayor of Poltava Valeri Parkhomenko Oleksandrovich, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Lilia Fedorchenko, Head of the Nationalities and Religions Department of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Poltava Regional State Administration Vladimir Sostin Oleksandrovich, Rector of Poltava V.G. Korolenko Pedagogical University Maryna Grynova Maryna Viktorivna, Vice-Rector for Research of the Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava National Technical University Olena Stepova Valeriyevna, representative of the Ukrainian Ombudsman Office in the Poltava region Vladislav Nosenko Vladimirovich, as well as leaders and activists of diaspora organizations operating in Ukraine. The festive event became a symbol of the unity of cultures and traditions. Representatives of various nationalities and cultures gathered together and shared the joy of the holiday. The Novruz holiday created an atmosphere of kindness, sincerity, and open communication, emphasizing the significance of mutual support and tolerance.
The event has come to end with lighting a festive bonfire.
