Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage was showcased during the “Culture Day” event held at Corvinus University of Budapest.

The event was jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Hungary, the Youth Integration and Development Association (AYID), and Azerbaijani students.

The Azerbaijani corner set up at the event attracted special interest from participants. The corner featured Azerbaijani national costumes, traditional dance performances, and the country’s rich culinary culture.

Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector of Corvinus University of Budapest, also visited the Azerbaijani stand and learned more about Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage. He sampled various dishes from Azerbaijani national cuisine and highly appreciated the diversity of Azerbaijani culture.

Subsequently, performances of the 'Mirzayi,' 'Sari Gelin,' and 'Uzundara' dances by Azerbaijani students added a special vibrancy to the event.

The event, held with the active participation of our compatriots, made an important contribution to promoting Azerbaijani culture internationally and expanding cultural ties.
