The Turkish delegation included members of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye - Hulusi Akar, Shamil Ayrim, Sayin Bayar Ozsoy, mayor of Talas Municipality in Kayseri Mustafa Yalchin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün, representatives of the ruling Justice and Development Party, senior officials from the Kayseri Municipality, university rectors, scientists, and entrepreneurs visited Garabagh.

During their visit, the delegation visited Garabagh University, and met with the academic staff. Shahin Bayramov, the university’s rector, provided the visitors with information about the activities of the university, its reconstruction, and its adaptation to modern academic standards. Turkish delegation observed classes, visited several lecture halls, as well as held discussions with students.

It should be noted that the trip was organized with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in Shusha.
