The first panel of the First Forum of Diaspora Organizations of Turkic States held at the State Committee on Work with Diaspora was dedicated to the topic "Heydar Aliyev and the Turkic World".

The panel was moderated by Director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, full member of ANAS, MP Rafael Huseynov. Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Alim Bayel, Ambassador of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Kayrat Osmonaliyev and Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov delivered speeches at the conference and wished successes to the work of the forum.

Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Vagif Seyidbayov, former Prime Minister,  Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Hasan Hasanov, President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Efendiyeva, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic States (Turkish PA) Mehmet Sureyya Er spoke about Heydar Aliyev’s role in the history of Azerbaijan and the entire Turkic World, his  special  concern for cultural heritage, and his services for the unity of the Turkic states.

The event ended with a discussion of the questions of the panel participants.

Then, Forum participants paid a visit  to the Heydar Aliyev Center.
