The meeting of the Netherlands-Belgium Azerbaijanis Coordination Council held

As a part of his visit to the Benelux countries, Fuad Muradov, the Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, met with the Azerbaijani community living in the Kingdom of the and participated in the meeting of the Coordination Council.
The meeting began with the playing of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan, followed by a moment of silence to honor the dear memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the integrity of our country.
Elkhan Mirhashimli, the coordinator for the Netherlands of the Coordination Council of Netherlands-Belgium Azerbaijanis, presented a report regarding the Council’s activities.
"An important result of the successful diaspora policy implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev is that relations between the Azerbaijani state and our compatriots living abroad, as well as within communities, have intensified and coordinated activities have expanded," the committee chairman said at a meeting with the Azerbaijani community.
At the meeting, video clips featuring the speeches of the head of state were shown, and detailed information was provided about the projects implemented by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
Mammad Ahmadzadeh, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, briefed participants on the growing in political activity and influence of Azerbaijani diaspora recently, and emphasized the significant role of compatriots in conveying the Azerbaijani truth to the international community.
Subsequently, an exchange of views was held on the activities of the Coordination Council, proposals for the future were made, future directions of activity were discussed, and community members’ questions were answered. Azerbaijanis expressed their gratitude for the support provided to the coordinated activities and emphasized that working together yields more effective results.
During the meeting, new coordinators for the Netherlands - Belgium Azerbaijanis Coordination Council were elected.
Firangiz Baghirova, head of the Azerbaijan – Netherlands Land of Fire Society, was presented with an honorary decree for successfully promoting our national music in Europe.
In the artistic part of the event, the "Netherlands Gala Group" performed Azerbaijani national music, giving our compatriots unforgettable moments.
