The Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, Fuad Muradov accepted Fuzuli Ganbarov, the Head of the Public Organization of the Poltava Region of the Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Rada.

The Committee Chairman highly appreciated the role of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine and in the expansion of cultural relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, current situation of Azerbaijani diaspora in Ukraine and future plans were considered.

Subsequently, the medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan "For service in Diaspora activity" was presented to Fuzuli Ganbarov.

Fuzuli Ganbarov expressed his deep gratitude to the Azerbaijani state for the high appreciation of his activity. He stated that Azerbaijanis living abroad had always supported President Ilham Aliyev's policies and would continue to spare no effort for the development of bilateral relations between their countries and for ensuring that the activities of the diaspora become more organized.
