A meeting of the members of the Benelux Azerbaijanis Congress (BAC) with management of the West Azerbaijan Community was held in Baku.

Elsevar Mammadov, the Chairman of BAC, Sima Jafarova, Deputy Chairman of BAC, Gulnara Aliyeva, Head of the press service of BAC, Majid Mammadov, BAC representative of Azerbaijan, Deputy chairman of "Dayag" organization, Aziz Alekbarli, Head of the West Azerbaijan Community, Member of Parliament and Hikmat Babaoglu, the Deputy head of the community, Member of Parlament took part at the meeting.

During the meeting, the cooperation between the West Azerbaijan Community and the Benelux Azerbaijanis Congress, its prospects and future plans were discussed.

The topics as deportation of our compatriots from the territory of Armenia in the last 100 years, armenianization of toponyms and new facts related to these topics were also were reviewed. The importance of conveying information about the deportation of our compatriots from their homeland - Western Azerbaijan to the European public was highlighted.
