Members of the "Alumni Club" of the famous Limes School of Geopolitics of Italy visited the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, as part of their visit to Azerbaijan.

The Committee chairman Fuad Muradov informed the guests about the diaspora policy implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, multi-directional projects of the Committee including Azerbaijani Houses, cultural centers and weekend schools operating abroad.

It was emphasized that the Azerbaijanis living abroad, including in Italy had been very active during the war and post-war period. The geographical spread of ​​Azerbaijani diaspora and the soft power opportunities were also debated at the meeting.

The guests have thanked for the warm reception and have noted that their visit aims to get to know Azerbaijan, the leading state of the South Caucasus, better.

It was stated that graduates of Limes School of Geopolitics are interested in the prospects of the relations between Italy and Azerbaijan, in obtaining information about the latest situation of the region and conducting comprehensive analysis.

Later, the parties exchanged views on the possibilities of cooperation and future perspectives. The guests were presented books about the history and culture of our country. At the end of the meeting, commemorative photos were taken.

It should be noted that the Italian delegation included persons influential in their own field of activity.
