Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, presented the medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan "For service in Diaspora activity" to Mikhail Eliovic, a member of the Board of Directors of "AzIz" Israel-Azerbaijan International Association.

Expressing his gratitude for the award, Mikhail Eliovich has told that this medal will play an important role in his life. Speaking proudly about his loyalty to Azerbaijan, the guest re-emphasized his love for Baku as well.

Mikhail Eliovich was born on November 25, 1956 in Baku. In 1979, he graduated from the faculty of Engineering of the Azerbaijan Oil and Chemistry Institute. He worked as an engineer and at various administrative positions in Baku.

After moving to Israel in 1990, Mikhail Eliovich worked in various spheres. Since 2007, he has been the initiator and organizer of many events as a member of the Board of Directors of "AzIz" Israel-Azerbaijan International Association. In 2023, he was awarded the medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan "For service in the Diaspora Activity".
