An event dedicated to the Victory Day and the State Flag Day was held in Brussels, the capital of Belgium with the organization of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Belgium, and the “Fireland” Azerbaijani Union in Belgium.

Ilaha Tagiyeva, Chairwoman of the Fireland Azerbaijani Union in Belgium, Tamerlan Babayev, First Secretary of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Belgium, and Emin Aliyev, Founder of the "Madani" Platform operating in Belgium, delivered speeches at the event. Determination and will of the Azerbaijani people, modern army building was brought to attention. It was noted that the Patriotic War concluded with a great victory for our people thanks to the strong will and determination of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, as well as the high professionalism and heroism of our military personnel.

The event continued with an artistic segment. Compatriots Sadiq Agamaliyev, residing in the Netherlands, as well as Sabir Mustafayev and Mikayil Babayev, residing in Belgium, performed works by Azerbaijani composers, classical and retro music, and folk songs. The Fireland children's dance group, along with Nigar Shukurova and Novruz Abdullayev, presented various dance performances. The performances were met with prolonged applause from the guests.

An exhibition featuring photographs of historical monuments and religious structures located in Karabakh, which were subjected to vandalism during Armenia's occupation but are now being restored and renovated, as well as a corner dedicated to Azerbaijani culture, generated great interest among the attendees.
