The Azerbaijani community of Switzerland has made an official appeal to the organizers of Palexpo book fair regarding the provocative actions of Armenian diaspora.

“The centre “Armenie Culture & Saveurs” located in Geneva, Rue de Lozanne promotes materials about fake “Nagorno-Karabakh Republic” established on internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan. As you may know, Azerbaijan implemented four UN resolutions in 2020 and re-established its sovereignty over Nagorno-Karabakh and seven adjacent regions during 44 days with Armenia. It is well known fact that Armenia used military to seize Nagorno-Karabakh and seven adjacent regions of Azerbaijan, and moreover, implemented ethnic cleansing and established minority racist regime in Nagorno-Karabakh. Today, multinational and multicultural Switzerland became our second home in Europe. However, we, Azerbaijani House in Switzerland express our sincere concerns regarding the rising tension and hostility of Armenian community towards Azerbaijan and its territorial integrity. Therefore, we strictly condemn actions of “Armenie Culture & Saveurs” for hosting anti-Azerbaijan events at book fair, and any support for continued separatism” - stated in the appeal.

It should be noted that the Coordinating Council of Azerbaijanis of Switzerland issued a protest statement regarding the Armenian provocation.
