A meeting of the Board of the Alliance of Azerbaijanis in Germany was held at the Azerbaijan House in Cologne, Germany.

Altay Rustamli, Head of the Alliance’s Board, spoke about the unity of our compatriots living in Germany and the efforts made to preserve our national values. He also presented a report on the activities of the Alliance, which unites diaspora organizations in the country.

Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who attended the meeting, noted that as a result of the consistent and purposeful state policy implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, diaspora activities reached a new and more advanced stage of development. Expressing his views on the work carried out by the Alliance, the Chairman emphasized the importance of the close unity of our compatriots living abroad around national interests, centralizing organizational activities, and ensuring the systematic coordination of efforts.

During the discussions, it was noted that the active participation and initiative demonstrated by our compatriots in these processes, play an important role in the development of the Azerbaijani diaspora movement. The process of community-building is strengthening, and the decision-making capacities of diaspora organizations are rapidly improving.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on directions that could further promote the future activities of the Alliance and contribute to the overall development of the diaspora, along with the presentation of proposals regarding future prospects.
