An educational two-part event was held by organizing Aberdeen Azerbaijan Society, operating in the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.

The presentation, dedicated to the 18 October - Day of Restoration of Independence was held at the event, organizing by Ibrahim Khasiyev, the head of the Society, Tamerlan Agayev, secretary of the Society, and Emilia Gozalova, social network manager. In the presentation, the detailed information about the history of our country's independence was given to the Azerbaijani and foreign students.

In the second part of the event, an intellectual game "brain ring" was organized among the students. In a game, conducted to assess knowledge about the history of Azerbaijan, students learned new and interesting facts about our country.
