I Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, the Ministry of Youth and Sport and the Youth Foundation in Shaki on August 22-28, 2018.

140 diaspora youth from 37 countries, including the United States, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Sweden, Romania, Italy, Indonesia and the United Kingdom attended the Youth Camp. Officials, parliamentarians and representatives of public organizations attended I Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth.

Training, quizzes and competitions were held with the participation of professionals during the I Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth.

Youth policy, conveying the realities of Azerbaijan to the world community, intercultural dialogue, the development of the diaspora, the heritage of cultural enlightenment, sports, the diaspora in the media and other topics were discussed during I Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth.
