As part of the Forum of the Azerbaijani Cultural Ambassadors organized in Antalya, a presentation of Azerbaijan Houses abroad, was organized and their activities were discussed.

The event was attended by Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Adil Karimli, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, heads of Azerbaijan Houses and Cultural Centers in various countries, media representatives.

Videos about the activities of the Azerbaijan Houses were showcased. Detailed information was provided about the projects implemented by the houses aimed at preserving our culture, language, and national identity. It was noted that the Azerbaijan Houses serve as an important platform for uniting the scientific and intellectual potential of our compatriots, strengthening cultural and social ties, and promoting the truth about Azerbaijan to the world.

The heads of the Azerbaijani Houses abroad made reports, once again emphasizing the contributions they can make to cultural diplomacy.

Afterwards, a presentation outlining new perspectives on the “Azerbaijani Houses” concept, as well as the goals and effective mechanisms for the coming years, was shared with the participants. The presentation sparked great interest and was followed by extensive discussions.

The assembly also featured the presentation of the “Milli Dilli” (“National Language”) online lesson project designed for Azerbaijanis living abroad.

Sevinj Aliyeva, the author and head of the project, implemented with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, and an Azerbaijani living in the Netherlands, provided extensive information about the “Milli Dilli” (“National Language”) project, highlighted future development directions, and said that the project is accessible to everyone. Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, addressed a multitude of inquiries of the heads from the Azerbaijani Houses abroad.

It should be noted that at present there are 31 Azerbaijani Houses in 20 countries around the world. Weekend schools are active in each of these houses.
