Well-known scientists representing the Azerbaijani diaspora will participate in the 74th International Astronautical Congress, to be held in Baku between the dates October 2 to 6.

Prof. Dr. Nazim Muradov, group leader on Hydrogen Energetics of the University of Central Florida's (UCF) Solar Energy Center (FSEC), Abdulla Sofiyev professor of Istanbul Trade University, a well-known scientist in the field of mechanics and aerospace engineering, Chingiz Hajiyev, professor of the Faculty of Aeronautics and Cosmonautics of Istanbul Technical University, Esmira Bayramova, manager of Capella Space, head of the Florida Azerbaijani community are among the participants.

It should be noted that their scientific articles gave them the right to participate in the 74th International Astronautical Congress.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan won the right to host the International Astronautical Congress in 2023. Baku’s hosting the International Astronautical Congress again 50 years later (the first was held in 1973 under the leadership of the great leader Heydar Aliyev) carries a moral and symbolic value.
