The representatives of Azerbaijan diaspora operating in Kazakhstan visited the State Committee

As part of the visit to Azerbaijan by compatriots representing the diaspora in Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of the Kazakh nationality working in state structures and media organizations, under the slogan "Following in the footsteps of Presidents!", a meeting was held at the State Committee on Work with Diaspora.

The meeting began with the playing of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan the dear memory of our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the integrity of our homeland was commemorated with a one - minute of silence.

Committee Chairman Fuad Muradov, who opened the event with an introductory speech, greeted the guests and provided information about the Committee's activities, ongoing projects, Azerbaijani houses operating abroad, Coordination Councils, and the 5th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth will be held in Lachin in August. He noted that, as in many fields, Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan cooperation continues at a high level in the areas of diaspora and lobbying. The Chairman emphasized that during the 44-day Patriotic War, numerous support letters and appeals were received from the Azerbaijani community living in Kazakhstan. He highlighted the importance of the get organizing of our compatriots living abroad. The Chairman mentioned that the opening of the Kurmangazy Children's Creativity Center, built in the city of Fuzuli with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, is another symbol of the friendship, brotherhood, and mutual support between our countries and peoples.

 Subsequently, Shakir Selimov, an employee of the Humanitarian Policy, Diaspora, Multiculturalism, and Religious Affairs Department of the Administration of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic, spoke about the significance of the meeting, the attention and care shown by the Azerbaijani state to our compatriots living abroad, the sincere relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and the deep historical ties between the two countries.

Rafael Hacibalayev, the chairman of the "Unity" Ethnocultural Union of Kostanay region, expressed their readiness to provide all kinds of support in expanding Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relations.

Ramilya Mustafayeva, head of the "Karabakh" Azerbaijani Ethnocultural Union of the Turkestan region; Qahraman Sadiyev, head of the Almaty city branch of the Association of Azerbaijanis of Kazakhstan; Shamsaddin Huseynov, head of the "Dostluk" Ethnocultural Union of the Mangistau region; Allahverdi Mammadov, deputy chairman of the Association of Azerbaijanis of Kazakhstan; Tacir Abdullayev, chairman of the Azerbaijani Ethnocultural Union of the Jambyl region; Kazakh writer Nasikha Gumarkizi; and other diaspora representatives also spoke, expressing their heartfelt words. They expressed their pleasure in visiting Azerbaijan and their confidence that the relations between the two brotherly countries would continue to develop progressively.
