The Collegium meeting, dedicated to the work done in 9 months of 2024 was held at the State Committee on Work with Diaspora.

The meeting began with the National Anthems of Azerbaijan. In the introductory speech Chairman Fuad Muradov spoke about ongoing projects of the Committee and the activity of the Azerbaijani diaspora. He stated that significant steps have been taken in the coordinated activities of the diaspora, its organization, and the strengthening of its ties with the homeland.

The Chairman stated that the attention and care shown by President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva towards the activities of the diaspora, as well as the restoration of Azerbaijan territorial integrity, have created great enthusiasm among our compatriots. He emphasized that the instructions and recommendations of the President of Azerbaijan form the fundamental principles of diaspora activities.

At the meeting, the reports of the relevant departments of the Committee’s apparatus and Funds for Support to Azerbaijani was heard. Information was provided about large-scale projects, conferences, specialized forums, and other events both inside the country and abroad.

Subsequently, the members of the board discussed the presented reports, the tasks for the last three months of 2024, the action plan for 2025, and the direction of activity, and they voiced new assignments.

The Collegium meeting concluded with the presentation of medals to committee employees awarded by the decree of President of Republic of Azerbaijan.
