Fuad Muradov, the chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, received Shamseddin Huseynov, the chairman of the “Dostlug” (“Friendship”) Ethnocultural Union operating in the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan.

Welcoming the guest, the Chairman of the State Committee positively assessed the activity of our community in the brotherly country of Kazakhstan. He spoke about the positive impact of the development of bilateral relations on the activities of the Azerbaijani diaspora. It has been emphasized that the committee implements joint projects with diaspora organizations operating in various regions of Kazakhstan, as well as in Aktau, Almaty, Turkistan, Shymkent and Astana.

Then Shamseddin Huseynov was presented with the medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan "For service in Diaspora activity".

The chairman of the union expressed his deep gratitude to our country for the high assesment given to his diaspora activity. He has told that our compatriots are proud of President Ilham Aliyev, who ensured the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan thanks to his determined political course. Recalling that he has been living in Kazakhstan for more than 30 years, the chairman of the union emphasized that they will continue to work for the protection of the national interests of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the development of bilateral relations and the strengthening of our diaspora.
