Canadian MP Len Webber responded to the appeal of Sabina Iskenderova, executive director of the Alberta-Azerbaijan Cultural Society (ALACS), regarding the military provocation of Armenia on the state border with Azerbaijan.

Len Webber, representing Calgary Confederation in the legislative body shares the concern of the electors regarding the provocations caused by Armenia against Azerbaijan. The letter says:

“Dear Dr. Isgandarova,

Thank you for your note.

Like you, Conservatives are deeply concerned about the safety and security of all Azerbaijani and Arminian people. The hardships the people of the region face every day due to ongoing conflict reinforces the fact that we are indeed fortunate to be part of a country that can provide the opportunities and freedoms that we all enjoy, and all too often take for granted.

My fellow Conservatives and I will continue to call on the Government of Canada to work with the global community to help secure for the people of the region.
