Fuad Muradov, the Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, met with the leadership of the Benelux Congress of Azerbaijanis (BAC), operating in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The meeting was attended by Elsever Mammadov, the chairman of BAC, Sima Jafarova, the deputy chairman, Gulnara Aliyeva, the head of press service, Majid Mammadov, representative for Azerbaijan.

Sincerely welcoming the guests, the Committee Chairman recalled fondly the participation of diaspora youth from the Benelux countries, including the Netherlands, in the recently concluded "Youth for a Green World", 5th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth.  He also shared his thoughts on further deepening diaspora activities.

Referring to BAK's activities this year, the organization’s leadership announced that the next congress would be held by the end of the year, and that the 5th anniversary of the "Korpe fidanlar" children's musical theater group, which operates under BAC, would be celebrated.   Additionally, it was emphasized that painting and dance classes for children would be organized at BAC.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on matters of mutual interest.

It should be noted that the Benelux Azerbaijanis Congress (BAC) was founded on November 18, 2006, in the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, by 15 diaspora organizations.
