A representative of the Panah Ali Khan’s dynasty: "I felt the grandeur of the Karabakh Victory more deeply in Shusha"

Descendant of Panah Ali Khan Gulam Akbarov, who is residing in Spain, visited Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, together with his family.

During the trip organized by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, the Akbarovs first visited the remains of their great-grandfather's palace and the street named after Panah Ali Khan, the founder of Karabakh Khanate.

Then the descendants of the Khan dynasty visited Bazarbashi square, Jidir Plain, “Shot Statues” square, the place where the Shusha Declaration was signed, the House of Khurshudbanu Natavan, “Khan Gizi Spring”, Museum-mausoleum of Molla Panah Vagif, Ganja Gate, Yukhari Govharaga Mosque, “Isa Spring” and other remarkable sights of the town.

The Akbarov family was given detailed information about ongoing reconstruction and restoration works carried out in Shusha, the pearl of Karabakh.

Gulam Akbarov said that he felt the grandeur of the Karabakh Victory more deeply in Shusha and he would never forget that day.

The Akbarovs shared their impression full of pride and joy with the Committee's YouTube channel Diaspor TV. They also expressed their gratitude to Victorious Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev and our mighty army. May God have mercy on all our martyrs, our young sons, died for the Motherland, they prayed.
