Our compatriot's composition has been awarded the silver medal at an international competition

Our compatriot Eldar Khudiyev, who resides in Washington, the capital of the USA, has been awarded a silver medal in both the Grand and Global Music Awards at the International Music Competition held in Atlanta for his composition titled "Circus."

The piece was conducted by the author’s brother, Farhad Khudiyev, a renowned musician actively performing in the United States.

In December of this year, "Circus" is scheduled to be performed by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, along with the famous clarinetist and Yale University professor David Shifrin.

In addition to "Circus", Eldar Khudiyev is the composer of works such as "Azerbaijan", "Journey to the Land of Fire", "Dreams", "Autumn Waltz", "Asia", and others.

Due to his contributions to music, Eldar Khudiyev was awarded the title of "Especially Talented Representative of the Arts" by the U.S. government in 2006 and has received numerous awards from various countries. He consistently represents and promotes Azerbaijan’s rich musical heritage in concerts and cultural events organized in the United States. Currently, he teaches violin at a children’s music academy in Washington.
