International Youth Programs Held in China Created New Cooperation Opportunities

With the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and joint cooperation of the "Great Silk Way" International Youth Union and the All-China Youth Federation, international youth programs were organized in the Chinese cities of Shanghai and Wuhan. The programs were implemented within the framework of the Global Youth Development Program.
The training held under the title “Young Entrepreneurs and Start-up Accelerator”, was attended by fellow entrepreneurs from Silk Way geography, start-up founders, and authors of innovative projects. They exchanged views on technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, healthy lifestyles, sustainable production, the creative economy, modern media, music, culture, economic development, entrepreneurship, and volunteerism.
Later, the World Youth Development Forum (WYDF) commenced in the city of Wuhan. Held for the fifth time, the forum brought together young leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, researchers, and representatives of international organizations from around the world.
The results of the Acceleration Training Program held in Shanghai were also announced during the forum. Selected participants presented their start-up projects to an international audience and shared information about their innovative initiatives. Renowned entrepreneur and founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, evaluated the projects of young entrepreneurs and shared his experience in innovation and entrepreneurship with the participants.
In addition, a thematic session titled “Creative Economy and Modern Culture” was held. During the session, Aytan Aliyeva, President of the “Great Silk Way” International Youth Union, emphasized that social media has become an integral part of modern culture. She also highlighted the importance of considering both the positive and negative impacts of these platforms on society.
At the conclusion of the forum, elections were held for the Board of the World Youth Development Federation. Aytan Aliyeva was re-elected as a member of the organization's Board. The Youth Declaration was also adopted, calling to strengthen the role of young people in sustainable development, innovation, entrepreneurship, volunteerism, and international cooperation.
