Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora met with Maria Victoria Romero Caballero, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States of Mexico to Azerbaijan.

Welcoming the guest, the Chairman of the Committee gave information about the diaspora policy of Azerbaijan, as well as the organization of the World Azerbaijanis and the integration of Azerbaijanis living in Latin American countries, including Mexico, into the local societies.

Expressing her gratitude for the warm reception, Ambassador Maria Victoria Romero spoke about the significance of expanding relations between Mexico and Azerbaijan and establishing cooperative relations between The Institute for Mexicans Abroad and the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and holding mutual visits and singing memorandum of cooperation between the relevant state bodies. 

The parties exchanged ideas on the prospects of cooperation and presented commemorative gifts to each other at the end of the meeting.
