The Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov visited the Azerbaijan House in Barcelona. He met with our compatriots living in Barcelona, as well as teachers and students of clubs operating under the Azerbaijan House.

It should be noted that 30 Azerbaijan Houses operate in 18 countries around the world. The State Committee on Work with Diaspora ensures each Azerbaijan House with the necessary resources.

Karim Karimov, the Coordinator of the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis in Spain for Barcelona, chairperson of the Azerbaijani Society in Barcelona and Azerbaijani House in Barcelona, informed in detail about the activities of Azerbaijan House, shared future plans. He stated that Azerbaijan House hosted a number of intellectual competitions, film days, exhibitions, and events promoting Azerbaijan's national cultural heritage and rich history, as well as open door days.

Members of the Turkish community and South Azerbaijanis were highlighted to have also visited the Azerbaijan House in Barcelona, participated in events, and shown activity.

Committee chairman noted the significant role of Azerbaijan House in organizing of the Azerbaijani community living in Spain, communicating of Azerbaijani truths to the world community, as well as promoting the country's cultural heritage, and wished the community continued success in their future activities.

It should be noted that on February 7, 2024, during the extraordinary Presidential elections held in Azerbaijan, one of the Azerbaijan Houses, where polling stations were organized in several countries was the Azerbaijani House in Barcelona.
