Chairman of the Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov met with a delegation led by Kamil Salduz, Chairman of the Kars Education and Culture Foundation.

The chairman greeted the guests and wished success to the newly established foundation. He noted that the committee would provide the essential support for its activities. He also described the unity of the Azerbaijani-origin Turkish citizens from the Eastern Anatolia region as a praiseworthy development.

Kamil Salduz thanked for warm reception. He emphasized that the majority of the founders and guardians of the foundation which established following an announcement published in Turkey’s Official Gazette on October 19, 2025, are individuals originally from Kars. He stated that “Kars Friendship Group” which forms the core of the foundation, has carried out several cultural initiatives to date. He also recalled the large-scale cultural programs dedicated to May 28 - Independence Day which held in Ankara and Istanbul in 2023 with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Türkiye.
