“Azerbaijani Cultural Day” in Brazil

“Azerbaijani Cultural Day” was held in Lago Sul, Brazil to promote rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.

The event was organized by the President of the Brazilian Association of International Relations and journalist Fabiana Jeyhan with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora.

National music, dances, traditional costumes and examples of folk art reflecting rich and ancient culture of Azerbaijan were extensively showcased at the event. It was particularly emphasized that Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage has deep historical roots and continues to be recognized internationally today.

Additionally, stands featuring examples of the national cuisine were set up, where participants were treated to delicious dishes prepared by chef Halil Jeyhan.

The artistic part of the event was met with great enthusiasm. The performance of Azerbaijani national music provided the guests with unforgettable moments. Meanwhile, the performances by New York-based Azerbaijani musicians Roya and Rizvan delighted the Brazilian audience.

The event made a significant contribution to promoting Azerbaijani culture on the international stage, preserving national identity and strengthening cultural relations between the two countries. “Azerbaijan Culture Day” was also widely covered by the Brazilian media.
